Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information is processed when you visit the Cursed Survivors website and play the browser game, and what choices you have.
Who is responsible for this website?
The website is operated under the name Cursed Survivors. You can contact us at cursedXsurvivors@gmail.com for any question about this policy or about your personal data.
Information we process
Technical information
Our hosting provider processes technical data needed to deliver and protect the website, such as IP address, browser and device type, requested pages and timestamps. This is processed under the hosting provider’s own terms and privacy policy.
Game data stored in your browser
The game saves information in your browser’s local storage so you can continue where you left off: your language, volume settings, progress, coins, shop upgrades, unlocked characters, achievements and achievement counters. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us. It may be lost if you clear site data, use private browsing or change browsers or devices.
Fonts
The game page loads a pixel font from Google Fonts. When it does, your browser requests the font file from Google servers, which means Google receives your IP address and basic request details.
Messages you send us
If you email us, we process your email address and the content of your message only to reply to you and manage your request.
We do not require accounts, and we do not ask you for your name, address or payment details to play.
Advertising and Google AdSense
This website displays, or may display, advertising served by Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to deliver, measure and personalise ads, subject to your consent where the law requires it. Third-party vendors, including Google, may use information about your visits to this and other websites to serve ads.
For visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, a consent message provided by a Google-certified consent management platform is shown so that you can accept, refuse or change your choices about advertising cookies. You can reopen those choices at any time through the privacy and cookie settings link provided by that message.
You can learn how Google uses information from sites that use its services at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites, and manage personalised advertising at adssettings.google.com. You can also visit aboutads.info to opt out of personalised ads from participating third-party vendors.
Cookies and similar technologies
Details on game storage and advertising cookies are in our Cookie Policy. You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
Why we process data
Depending on your location and the purpose, we process data to deliver and secure the website (legitimate interest), to save the settings and progress you request in the game, to answer your messages, to comply with legal obligations and, for advertising cookies where required, on the basis of your consent.
Retention
Technical logs are kept by the hosting provider for the period set in its own policy. Emails are kept only as long as needed to handle your request. Game data in your browser remains until you delete it.
Sharing and international transfers
We do not sell personal data. Data may be processed by service providers such as our hosting provider and Google, which may operate outside your country. Where required, these providers rely on legal safeguards for international transfers.
Children
The website is a general-audience game and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal data, contact us and we will delete it.
Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the processing of your personal data, to data portability, and to withdraw consent at any time. To exercise a right, email cursedXsurvivors@gmail.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (for example, the Spanish Data Protection Agency, AEPD).
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as the website changes. The date at the top shows when it was last revised.
